Its essence is to value the human being in the strategical agenda of the businesses by understanding that all ways and answers to the organizations sustainable development are people. In 2020, BMI supported the launching of the LIFE © Women Leadership in Motion in collaboration with United Nations Women.

Childhood

Childhood has as objective the protection of childhood and the adolescence. Its focus of work is on the confrontation of sexual abuse and exploitation of children and adolescents. BMI delivered the strategic planning for Brazilian operation.

Child Fund International

By sponsoring ChildFund assisted children, BMI’s financial contribution is reverted to sustainable social development, providing education and opportunity to children in poverty and extreme poverty. The sponsorship guarantees to a child and his or her family, chances for a life with more dignity, generating deep and long term improvements in the whole community of the supported child.

Colégio Mão Amiga

Colegio Mao Amiga diminishes inequalities of Brazil by means of education, consolidating itself as an excellence philanthropic school for low income children. To breach the cycle of poverty, so that the children can, by means of education, reach a better platform to their future, family and community. To form transforming citizens.

CUFA

CUFA provides minimum income aid to thousands of mothers living in slums around Brazilian large cities. It is a Brazilian NGO recognized national and internationally in the political, social, sporting and cultural areas and have been existing for 20 years.

FGV-EAESP

+

Scholarship fund at FGV-EAESP is a program that gathers former pupils, professors and companies that make donations for scholarship. By means of these donations, they make possible to transform the future of young, with potential and without financial conditions to defray his or her studies, contributing to positively change the society.

Gerando Falcões

Gerando Falcões contributes with food parcels and sociocultural support for peripheries and slums inhabitants. Its projects are focused on sport and culture for young children and adolescents and professional qualification for adults, being a motor generation of income for families, also for the egresses from the penitentiary system.

MAM SP

MAM SP is one of the most important cultural institutions of Brazil. It is a nonprofit Civil Society Organization of public interest that has as goal the conservation, extroversion and enlargement of its artistic heritage, the spreading of the modern and contemporary art and the organization of exhibits and cultural and educative activities. BMI is corporate sponsor and also delivered the strategic planning in 2021.

MASP

MASP is one of the most important cultural institutions of Brazil. Throughout its history, it was notably perceived by a series of important initiatives in the field of museology and artistic formation, as well as by its strong didactic performance. MASP possesses the most important and comprehensive collection of western art of Latin America and the whole south hemisphere, notably by its consistent sets of Italian and French schools. It also possesses extensive section of Brazilian art and small sets of African and Asian art, decorative arts, archaeological pieces. Daniel Motta is currently a member of its Board of Directors.

SOS Mata Atlântica Foundation

The Forests of the Future is an ample participative program for the restoration of private areas, in special those that contribute to the conservation of the water and biodiversity. Launched inJune 2004, it congregates the organized civil society, land owners, private initiative and public authorities to finance the plantation of seed, to support social environment actions and to offer technical qualification for the environment recovery. More than 3 million seeds of native trees have already been planted by the Program.

UNIBES

UNIBES thinks culture and social assistance as vectors of social development, as well as education, health, generation of income and other activities carried out by the institution for more than hundred years. BMI delivered the strategic planning in 2017 and 2021. Daniel Motta serves UNIBES as Strategic Planning Director.

UN Global Compact

UN Global Compact speeds up the implementation of the SOGs. The program is a call for the companies to line up their strategies and operations to the 10 universal principles in the Human Rights, Work, Environment and Anticorruption Areas and to develop actions that contribute to the confrontation of the society challenges. It is today the greatest initiative of corporate sustainability of the world, with about 14 thousand members in 70 local networks that comprehend 160 countries.

Women Corporate Directors

Women Corporate Directors is a foundation sponsored by KPMG that has as objective to foment the gender diversity in Board Rooms and to spread best practices of corporate governance. Established in the United States in 2001 and presented today in 39 countries, a nonprofit entity that has in its base more than 8,500 public and private companies and offers support for more than 2,400 advisor women members in the whole world. WCD Spotlight is a powerful online series created by BMI in 2020.
